Sixteenth day -- Exercise as usual, Scrutinising the Bill.

Woke up early, at about 5am, did not see the nurse who would come to take my blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen in the blood. So, disturbed by my wife who sent me photographs to complain about my books, my cameras equipment, drawing, and paintings, tools, servers, and digital storage, which are all needed to create works of art. This nonsense has been recurringly haunting me. My wife expects one to create with the mouth and not with tools. Disgusting!!! I have to find a way to create bigger and more exciting works. There is always a way. That is the real struggle with people beside me limiting my potential.

When I was little, parents will always say reading books and newspapers are good, one becomes a better and wiser person. I could not afford books when I was growing up, so the libraries were the places I visited often. The other way was to read next to read discretely in the books before alarming and annoying the shop attendants. Those were the days. When I made good money during my university holidays, I would spend a few hundred dollars on architecture and philosophy books. It was wonderful to own books: they are collectibles, reference, and reading materials. However, as I grew older, I amassed more and more books, mother and wife started to grumble, MESSY. That is the irony of life, they do not know what they are asking for when they promote and regurgitate sayings. My wife still asks my younger son to read, but it could be a blessing that he doesn't like to read, except playing his gaming cards. Now, I don't even dare to buy books although I can afford them. No space at home and it can get more haunting. Anyway, most of my savings will be going into my medical bill. One solution is audiobooks and digital books. Perhaps, one day I will spend some time converting my printed books into digital form. I still love to hold a book in hand and write over them with a fountain pen.

I washed up and started to walk. I did bout 4,500 steps and felt a little strange, like floating, perhaps ot was the Lirica. I slowed down and did the BaDuanJin exercise. It was good, the breathing and bending stretched the body, ensuring that the blood is flowing. I was refreshed. I wind down by making drawings of the chair I sat and today's breakfast.

Scramble eggs and a chicken beacon with a glass of warm bean curd.

This is a very comfortable chair, with wheel and can be fixed so that it does not roll off. Four wheels can all be fixed. I like the leather surface, easy for cleaning too.

The Bill

Amazing the bills is a wobbling 67K. Ooops there goes my life saving. Health is costly.

Self Portrait

One more portrait before leaving the hospital. Last night I requested for a fresh change of clothes but it did not come. Luckily I had my own fresh set that my wife prepared for me. It is a dark shirt which now fit well after I had lost two kilograms.

Not sure which was nicer. Just out up two to celebrate discharge.

I trim the forehead slightly and I look less skinny.

Evening Exercise

I did about 4,500 step at home and tested the XOSS that would track my heart rate. The total for the whole day had reached 10,000 steps. I was happy with the result.
