Seventeenth day - - light jogging at the park connector
Finally I can jog out door. As I don't really feel the tiredness, possibly due to the Lirica, I bought the XOSS from Lazada to monitor my heart beat, wore the smart watch to double check when needed. Setting up the XOSS to work was quite a hassle. It is not a digital friendly device. After 10 minutes then I got it registering. I had tested last night, it was working. Not very comfortable to wear. Some prixkiness along the belt. Although it was touted as one of the easiest to use.
Morning exercise
I did about 15 min of slow jog and I noticed the heart rate went close to 140. Also the feeling was getting strange so I slowdown and stopped. The feedback from the body was not so forth coming. I had to use the watch and XOSS to monitor. I did sow walk to wind down. The XOSS was not giving me good feedback after I had rested for more than 10 minutes it still showed the heart rate alternative between 103 and 104. I check with my watch, it read 93. I did a slow walk for 100 meters and the watch showed 80. I flicked to the XOSS, it was still alternating between 103 and 104. I tickled the program, relaunch and adjusted the chest belt then the reading went down to 80 and 79. Perhaps it was the way I wore the chest belt.
I followed by wife for another 15 minutes watching her photographing some Egret, Myna, and Purple Heron along the Bishan canal. The day was cloudy with occasional sunlight. Good to watch nature and breath the fresh air. Although at times I can smell the petrol exhaust in the air. Maybe they came from the car park nearby or the repair depot across the canal.
We left for home at about 8:30am. I had gotten used to the creamy soup in the hospital. So I made soup and onion fried with eggs for breakfast. I like it. Son was a little astonished and apprehensive about the soup but was proven otherwise. As I was not talking, I tried to use sign language and it took a long time just to communicate the word ‘Springleaf’, a place which we will be going in the afternoon for birds and a evening walk. I hope to hit 10,000 steps today.
I felt feverish in the evening and did not continue the evening exercise. My temperature was 37.2. My heart felt strange and I noticed my heart rate was higher than usual. I rested for the later part of the afternoon. The weather was sporadic rain and cloudy, cold.
After dinner, I was feeling better. Perhaps, the morning exercise was too strenuous. Tomorrow I should walk instead of jogging. I felt more prickly feeling at the right side of the tongue during dinner. Perhaps it was a reminder that I should eat with caution and masticate my food slowly. Well, I noticed that it was a good thing as my shit looked harder and more dense, it sank to the bottom of the toilet bowl. The back of my skull felt less numb, perhaps the GAMA effect on the skin was wearing off. The three of the screw points were still sore when I ran my fingers over them. I knew that they were healing well.
