Eighteenth day — Bishan Park
| Great sunlight. The birds were chirping and pruning their feathers. |
| At the far end, a man was practicing some martial art in the middle of the circular platform. |
I woke up at about 5:50am, stretched on the bed before washing up. We hope to get up early so that I could complete the exercise in an hour, thereafter do some grocery shopping. We left the house at about 7am.
The morning sun was a shine of yellow and warm. It was great to see the birds, squirrels and people going about their activities. There were a lot of Mynas. We saw some Oriole. She was very excited to photograph them, perhaps because she kept hearing them at out window.
My wife suggested that we should not go to the park connector as it smell bad yesterday with petrol and chemicals. I remembered seeing a tractor, Perhaps it was the construction work and the oil from the machinery.
It was a good choice. Bishan Park was my favorite garden for many months. I used to walk here and photographs the birds. Since January I had videoed many birds here, met many birdies, and friends. Most of them are retirees; some were business owners.
I was getting use to the XOSS,. Today, it works beautifully without any difficult. Love the golden landscape painted by the rising sun.At 7:10 am the sun was warm and the air was fresh with last nights dew. Leaves glitters and the lake too was glittering. I circled the lakes as the uneven floor of the pathways were not a favorite of the joggers and the cyclists, but it suited me, less people would reduce my exposure to other viruses as I was still weak from the GAMA treatment. I did about 9,000 steps then wind down with the BaDuanJin, while my wife searched, photographed the birds. She was so energized as she related how a kingfisher caught a fish but it was too big to be swallowed.
At about 8am we left to shop for grocery and breakfast. I just realized that a slice of cake now cost $2.60 at the bakery. Usually I bought the whole cake but seldom a piece. A loaf of white break, my favorite was only $2.10. We are really a developed country I thought. Now labor will be more costly as in all developed country, which could be a good thing for families who bake, cook and prepare their own meals. It reminded me of my younger days, we always had our meals at home. Parents always cooked for us.
I was not talking at all. I wrote on n A4 paper or trying to do some charade. It was difficult to communicate that way. It was so hilarious. My wife and son were happy. Most of my meals were porridge. I
