Last night I had a good sleep. The smartwatch was also recording an improvement from the last few nights. I had seven hours and 19 minutes of sleep and one hour forty-eight minutes of deep sleep. I am not sure what was the standard or the norm. I shall google and check.

I did about 4000 steps around the Bishan Lake this morning and completed the BaDuanJin. It took about an hour. Another thing I did was to play classical music during the walking. It was a good one hour. The sun was warm and enriching.
While I was cooking, suddenly I saw some stars on the right side of my vision. I quickly set the potatoes to slow cooking and went to rest on the sofa and did some deep breathing and massage my head. It did not improve. I quickly went to put the Tofu and soya dark sauce into the wok and let it boil so that I could attend to my stars. I started to massage the back of my neck and the stars disappeared when I massaged the right side of the neck. Interesting. Now I learned something. Perhaps it is that I look down to do computer work too often. I may have to lookup more often.
Interesting, today I ate the persimmon and the prickling effect seem to disappear. Let see if it comes back.
I was relaxing today so I was listening to a lot to Mozart and classical music. It supposes to help the nerve. Perhaps the high pitch and the violin share the same as the Tibetan bowl.
I figured that there are various things that would help:
- Good sleep
- Sound
- Food
- Exercise
- Belief or Faith (Biology of Belief)
- Meditation with the correct breathing exercise
- Psychological well-being
- Communicating with friends
- Habits
- Good Doctor
Good Sleep
This I use the smartwatch to tell me at this moment. I use the ROCK model of the RoHs and downloaded a program called Da Fit. In it has a very detailed graph and interpretation into numbers and a horizontal bar with four different categories of sleep. I had used the Fossil before but sometimes it just did not record the sleep, although it was running the Google Wear OS. That had been the case for quite a while, although it constantly upgrade to a newer OS, the newer the OS the more it becomes erratic. I think the OS does not know how to handle the little memory it has. Moreover, I had to charge it twice a day, so that is quite a fair bit of things to remember. The ROCK, I hardly charge it, it can work for two weeks, it claims, so far I only charge it once. It can withstand cold too, but not showering. Not sure why that is the case, it is a rugged smartwatch. So far the only thing that is not accurate is the blood pressure reading. It is always different by 20 points from my Sinocare. For sleep diagnosis, so far, I have no other comparison. I depend on the difference to calibrate my sleeping hour and environment. So far I have moved from poor to good. The few things I did were: One sleep sideways; Two sleep earlier; Three did not drink an hour before sleeping to minimize waking up to pee; Four set screen to night mode when typing in the evening.
Sound
I played Mozart if I was not listening to audiobook, or I played the Tibetan Bowl to relax and chill the nerve. It did work to chill the whole environment, making the moment light and lifting. It improved psychological well-being and improved the nerve. As there were many of us on the premise, I use various speakers and headphones to minimize disturbance to them when they need to teleconference. Most of the speakers ran on Bluetooth and chargeable batteries. I was lucky that I owned one Mozart CD and had digitized it. I streamed it from my Network Acess server (NAS). I streamed it from iOS. The android failed as the server firmware has to be upgraded for it to work. I was not sure why the automatic updating did not work. The manufacturer is not customer-oriented. I had to give a thumb down for Western Digital.
Food
In order that I can swallow it easily, I opted for creamy mushroom soup, slices of white bread, and scrambled egg with thinly sliced mushroom. By the way, I had switched to the Lacto-ovo-vegetarian with occasional beef supplement. It was taught to me by a chef who had been a vegetarian for ten years and suffered because of the lack of vitamin B12. I had been reading on food for better nerve health and may include Mackerel or Tuna for my diet. I also suspect that my liking for all kinds of nuts could also be one of the reasons that caused abrasion to the throat. Creamy and smooth food could nurse my throat back to health. I remembered eating biscuits with peanut butter was my favourite habit before retiring to bed.
Now I practice three meals a day. Lunch and dinner are porridge of Japanese rice grain with pumpkins, carrots, or sweet potatoes. Most of the vegetables were cooked until they were soft and supple, using small fire and slow cooking. I would have to read more to have a balanced vegetarian diet. Now, I cook my own food which is a good practice for me. Cooking is art too.
Exercise
I covered incrementally the number of steps and hope to accomplish 10,000 steps daily in the morning and perfect the Chinese breathing exercise BaDuanJin. Once that is done I would increase the intensity with more strenuous exercise, such as push up, sit up, etc. Presently, I cut back the number of steps as I was feeling more prickling sensation as I hit 6,000 steps.
Belief and faith
Definitely, there are always some ways to treat my condition as I keep working on it and implement more measures, I would be closer to solving it. Of course, sometimes we are not sure what exactly works but I am sure it can be done. I important thing I need to do is not to depend on Lirica as it definitely makes me less alert and active.
