 10 September 2025 — Morning Journal Entry

I woke up this morning at around 8:15. The first task of the day was preparing porridge with pumpkin, which took about an hour to cook. I set an alarm for 9:00 a.m. while waiting. In the meantime, I rinsed and gargled my mouth with sea salt, followed by a small glass of water mixed with French salt. It brought some relief, though the sharp pain on the right side of my throat felt worse than yesterday.

To calm the discomfort, I turned to meditation—relaxing the head, chest, and body. This helped ease the intensity.

At 9:00 a.m., I started to cook a side dish. First, I heated olive oil and added chopped ginger, letting the base warm through. Then I added half an onion, a little water, and covered the pan, allowing it to shimmer for 5–10 minutes until the onion turned transparent. Next, I added the white cabbage, placed an egg gently on top, and finally stirred in two scoops of the pumpkin porridge. I covered it for three minutes, turned off the fire, and let it rest for another ten minutes. The dish was then ready to be eaten.

Last night, I experienced a bout of rashes and itchiness. A small amount of peppermint essential oil gave relief, and I managed to fall asleep while meditating, which carried me into the morning.

By 10:00 a.m., the pumpkin porridge and side dish were ready. Eating was not easy at first—each spoonful brought sharp pain. I paused, meditated, and let the sensation settle. Slowly, by chewing until the porridge turned watery and swallowing gently, I managed to finish the entire bowl. I set up some of the music I had created, allowing it to soften the atmosphere, and persisted until the meal was done.

Afterward, I meditated for 10 minutes, setting an alarm so I would remember to take my medication. My treatment routine followed what had worked previously: two pills of Danzen for anti-inflammation and sore throat, one B12 pill, and one vitamin D capsule. Previously, I also had a small slice of fish with the porridge.

Every night, I brush my teeth with my Xiaomi electric toothbrush. I have also ordered an oral irrigator, which I am waiting to arrive, as part of improving my oral care routine.
