26th Jan 2022 - Visited TCM Doctor Chew Hong Gian

The idea was to find a permanent solution to my condition. The GAMA was a stop-gap. It scared the nerve so that it would not be so reactive to stimulants. I was recommended by Lim Yoke secondary schoolmates. He was one of the outstanding squash players when we were teenagers. I had a great discussion with him regarding the practice of BaDuanJing and Chinese writings. I was impressed by his writings on Wechat. His dad was a Chinese scholar who wrote for the papers and some publications. I took up his recommendations. He was down with COVID otherwise he would accompany me to Raffles Hospital for my consultation.

I made it early to the clinic at the second level on a separate wing from the main hospital.

I elaborated on my condition from 2 years ago and the current situation that I had done the GAMA treatment with Dr. David Choy to scare the Glossopharyngeal nerve. He concurred that I should do a 2 stage treatment. The first is to increase my Qi flow as he observed from the pulses of my wrist that I was rather weak. The second is to use acupuncture to treat my Glossopharyngeal nerve.

The initial solution was to take some granular herbs that increase my Qi, and also another that boosts both sides of my nerve. There were sets of herbs that I had to take for the first 5 days for a week and continue for the same on the second week. The herbs are prepared by mixing them in boiled 200ml water and taken after breakfast.

After leaving the clinic was feeling a little strange and tired. I went home and could not concentrate on any work. Retired to bed and rest from 3pm to about 6pm. Cooked dinner. Felt better after dinner and read some messages. Retired to bed at about 0:30 am. Woke up the next day at about 7:30am.
